	ACCEPTANCE Life is a chessboard ... Very complex, with many ways to move, many choices. Sometimes, it is in being the pawn - in standing still and accepting - that we have the best chance to view the beauty and vastness of the Universe. We do not need to know all the moves ... or even see all the other players in the game ... in order to accept the value of our own contribution.
	AT THE SEASHORE One morning, I woke to find myself on a beautiful seashore with white sand, turquoise waves, and a brilliant blue sky. Great Mother came and sat beside me. "What will you do here in this lovely place?" she asked. "I will count the seashells put them into rows," I replied. Great Mother watched the waves for a while.  "That might take many lifetimes,” she said. “If you knew you could not finish this task you have set for yourself, what would you do instead?" "Oh, then I would sit here and be calm and happy." And I was ... but then I began to wonder if this was a dream ... or if Great Mother was testing me ... or if I was being lazy ... and when I looked around there were only the four walls of my room - and I was all alone.
	BLISS   When life’s experiences have given you all the labels ... and taken them back again, when you are left with only the raw materials that are “you” ... only then will your life truly become your own. No mother/father, no daughter/son, no laborer title to identify with. Ah, such freedom! Such release! Without labels, there are no expectations. Without expectations, we can simply exist in that blissful moment of being-ness into which we were born. From there, the horizon is infinite and we, at last, experience union with the Universe around us.
	CHOOSING Each day comes a choosing, Each day a new path. Will you move up into the light? Or will you choose a different way? If you knew that there was no “right” and no “wrong,” no “good” and no “evil” .... Just experiences from which to learn, Would you then begin to let yourself bloom? Would you stop punishing yourself or hiding your light? Seek the Source, and every choice you make will nourish you.
	COURAGE You say you have no courage? Is it not the most courageous thing to wake each day and go on living? How very strong you are to set your feet each day upon the path before you, and to endeavor to do the very best you can! To not give up ... to go on getting up ... Is the very essence of Courage!
	LETTING GO  The world will be what it will be. Resisting change and pain and fear just makes it feel worse ... Like picking at a scab. Let your mind be a soothing wind, a quietly murmuring brook, a ray of sunshine, a shady glen. BE the Universe - even if you can only hold onto it for a moment. Once experienced, you will know that it is always and evermore within your grasp.
	SAFE IN THE SHADOWS If you stand always in the shadow of Strength, you may be safe ... but you cannot use your own power. There is beauty in your dance with life! Don't linger in shadows or let life (LIFE) pass you by! What are you waiting for? Live fully! Dance! BE!
	SERENITY When all around you there is chaos and frenzy and panic ... Do not be drawn in. In each moment, you have a choice. Choose to stand within the perfect circle of peace. Slow your breath, Calm your heart, Still your mind ... And feel the presence of Universal Love surround you and fill you with serenity.
	SHINE BRIGHTLY Everything is relevant and nothing is relevant when you recognize that YOU are the point of your life. If you accept that you are your own light and stop looking outside yourself for acceptance and recognition and value, then ... no matter what you are doing ... You still shine brightly. Other people and experiences do not add to or diminish you. Only YOU can affect YOU!
	TAKING FLIGHT There are people who never learn to fly. There are people  who never learn to walk. There are people who never learn to stand. Some of them are happy as they are ....  Living small, quiet lives. Are you one of them? Or do you ache from the burden of holding your wings tightly closed? Of keeping your feet on the path? Of holding your breath Instead of inhaling all of life’s possibilities? Isn’t it time you gave yourself permission to take flight? Isn’t it time your spirit, like an arrow loosed, flung itself heavenward in a blaze of glory?
	THE MAKING OF YOU Do you ever wonder about all the misplaced parts of your life ... all the strange beliefs, dreams, goals, and experiences that have gone into the making of “you”?  Sometimes, I think of my life as a witch’s brew bubbling away ... and now and again some raggedy old crone comes along, stirs it up, and drops in an eye of newt or a dragon tooth or something else remarkably strange, and then she wanders off with a chuckle ...  leaving me to try to figure out what, exactly, I am supposed to be turning into.
	YOU ARE AMAZING! Inside you, there is the most amazing person! Can you feel her there peering out ... Wanting to spring forth and try her hand at being you? What are you waiting for? Are you afraid that perhaps there aren’t enough parts of you to add up to a whole anything? Or maybe you worry that you only have it in you to be a “good” someone but never a “great” someone? Do you think God sent you here without any gifts? Silly Girl! You ARE .... and that is all you will ever need to be. Just breathe ~ laugh ~ sigh ~ DO! To experience you experiencing your life  - how can you NOT do that well?
